  • Make sure that the cake has ingredients that do not melt or rot so easily if subjected to heat. In fact, make sure your cake is refrigerated at all times and that the bakery is not more than half an hour of distance from the wedding venue.
  • When applying your makeup, use waterproof items and setting powder that would ensure that your makeup will remain at tiptop formation throughout the entire wedding! 
  • Heals are difficult. When are they more difficult? When you’re all sweaty from the heat! Try to find absolutely chic flats that would make your feet more comfortable during the wedding. If you cannot let go of your dear heels, apply some baby powder on your feet before slipping on your glamorous heels for a sweat-free experience!
  • Hair, hair, hair! That’s everyones number one fear in the heat! Applying a heat protection spray after finishing up your hairdo will give you an anti-heat finish, and say goodbye to frizz! (P.S: Going for less complicated hairdos will surely make your life easier in the heat!)
  • Good food is what makes a celebration perfect. For that, make sure that your set menu is compiled of light, fresh dishes that will not stuff up your guests and make them feel the heat even more. Salads, on-the-grill, and fruits are perfect for such a situation! 
  • Speaking of food, drinks and cocktails are a MUST for a summery wedding! Not only will it refresh everyone up to hit the dance floor, you will also make sure that everyone is well-hydrated and eliminating the chance of any accidents happening.
  • SPF is your second husband on your special day! Make sure to apply a generous amount of SPF in order to protect your skin from any harmful sun rays. 
  • Try to avoid booking your wedding timings at the early afternoon hours. The sun is at its peak and the heat is usually unbearable, so make note of when the sun’s intensity starts decreasing and book your wedding then!
  • Make sure you and your guests are continuously provided with tissues and wet wipes. These are essential for the heat, especially when everyone is wearing formal clothing that surely adds up to the heat. 
  • Clothing is also a marginal factor in coping with a hot summer day wedding! Wearing clothes that are not too heavy or embroidered with too many materials are a great way for surviving the heat without feeling like you are too constricted by the clothes you are wearing!
