Meet Masha Cain from Fabulous Day

Meet Masha Cain from Fabulous Day

23 October, 2016

We had the pleasure of interviewing one of our party planners vendors, the beautiful Masha Cain Fabulous Day Weddings & Events. Hear about her story and passion for creating a perfect journey to your dream wedding!

Dear Masha, would you mind to introduce yourself to our readers?

Hello, I am Masha Cain, founder and managing Director of Fabulous Day Weddings & Events. I have been living in Dubai for the past 10 years with my supportive husband, our beautiful children Nicholas and Christina, and our puppy Coco…

When and why did you start Fabulous Day?

I got married in 2008 at the Ritz Carlton JBR and we decided to hire a wedding planner as I was fully committed to my previous job in a Project Management company. It was one of the best decisions I had made at that time apart from choosing my groom. Not only the planning process fascinated me but it also gave me an inspiration for creating an unforgettable experience for others. In 2012, after my maternity leave, the plan was set to create a wedding planning company.

What do you enjoy the most in your job?

I find that it’s a fascinating industry to be in – when you think weddings, you think about happiness, love, flowers, cake and all the glitter that comes with it. I enjoy meeting new couples and network with vendors and the most important, to put client’s vision of their wedding day into a fabulous reality.

How would you describe your style? What makes you different, unique?

We always find creative and tailor make solutions, we never compromise on the commitment and time - no matter how big or small the project is.

What would be your top tips when choosing a wedding planner in Dubai?

There is a number of wedding planners to choose from and the key is finding the one you click with, who understands your style and has enough experience to plan a wedding of your scale.

Is there any interesting trend for Weddings this year?

Garden theme is still going strong with a twist of glamour for both indoor and outdoor weddings. It is interesting to see a combination of wood and sequin, colorful glassware and with a lot of greens.

What is the one piece of advice that you would like to give to our readers that are getting married?

First, do yourself a favour and hire a wedding planner so you can enjoy your wedding day to the fullest. Second, do your guests a favour, and have a gift registry so they have less hassle looking for a gift.

What would be your dream wedding gift?

A great gift for me would be something that I would never decide to purchase myself - such as private Hot Air Balloon Adventure that will always stay as a warm memory.
